Artist Bio

Actress, Model, Spoken Word, Visual Artist, Activist, and Cultural Creator, Zllen is based in the U.S. Zllen began her career as a hair model for local magazines. Zllen has graced many stages across the Midwest such as Walk Fashion Show, Dream, Styles, The African World Festival, and the Caribbean Mardi Gras Production. Also in 2014, Zllen began working with Artist Rozenia Johnson as a MDUBA Living Sculpture recreating adorment from Africa. As an actress Zllen has worked on Warner Bros. Batman Vs Superman, Comedy Central’s Detroiters, and Shady Aftermath for Eminem’s “Walk On Water”. Zllen has participated with many organizations in her community; joining Black Tie Collective as a Herbalist, Spoken Word Artist, and Youth Program Curator in the summer 2013. Starting In the summer of 2018 she curates the Annual African Children’s Day held at DABLS MBAD AFRICAN BEAD MUSEUM, geared toward African Children’s Games. As a visual artist, she displays thoughts, stories, sounds, and vibrations abstractly that shape the mind, using a variety of mixed media, such as acrylics, glass, symbolism, and wood. Her visual works have been featured at the Third Rail Art Gallery for the Love Vs. Exhibition in (2015), The 1st Annual Blaze N Brunch (2017), Interesting Concept Live Detroit (2018), and M Art Exhibit 2019.
