What is creative placemaking? Creative placemaking is an evolving field and practice. In it, artists are change-agents and arts and culture is leveraged to drive community change. Creative placemaking is specific to a geographic community–whether a small town, rural region, or city neighborhood–and helps improve social, economic or physical aspects of life for residents of that place.
