Interlude Artist Residency
It’s a challenge to find focused and dedicated time to work while raising a family. Interlude was created to support artists’ practice and meet the concurrent needs of creative and family lives.
During their month at Interlude, residents receive a beautiful studio and living space that can accommodate their families. The program includes a modest stipend for transportation, childcare, food, or materials.
Residents will be matched with notable area artists and arts professionals for studio visits. Interlude provides several prepared meals and a large kitchen stocked with basics for breakfast and lunch. An on-site staff member helps with logistics to allow residents focus on their work, and can advise on local activities and childcare providers.
